From Gran Canaria Walking Festival we are delighted to welcome mountain enthusiasts or anyone interested in enjoying nature. This activity is not limited to specialists or highly trained sportsmen and women, but we recommend that you consult the technical specifications of each route to see if you can do it.
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for hiking (we recommend the use of walking poles). In addition, it is important to bring enough water for each route (minimum 2 litres), a fully charged mobile phone battery, a cap, sunscreen and/or sunglasses, as well as a warm jacket or mackintosh if necessary.
In case of adverse weather conditions, some routes may be cancelled or rescheduled for safety reasons. We will inform participants as far in advance as possible through our official channels and provide alternatives where possible. For more information on the security measures implemented during the festival, we recommend you consult our Terms and Conditions.
Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to participate in the routes. However, each route indicates a minimum age depending on the conditions and characteristics of the itinerary. If you have any doubts about this section, please contact the organisation.
